To assist plant managers in improving and sustaining overall reliability of gearboxes, we are pleased to introduce "Gearbox Reliability Improvement Initiative". Following are salient features of the program:

Reliability status of gearboxes through following assessments:

	Gearbox selection check  for reliability
	Vibration Analysis for operational health status
	Temperature Monitoring for heating, leakage and lubrication problems
	Visual Inspection of internals during shutdowns for life assessment

Based on above inspections gearbox reliability will be rated (graded) followed by recommendations & customized training to engineers and staff for improving and then sustaining the ratings.
